The Cortlandt Rotary Club and Our Lady of Mount Carmel Society have teamed up to bring an exciting new Family Friendly Event to our area for the first time.  On Saturday, October 10, 2015 they will host the “Westchester Putnam Touch A Truck” from 10am to 4pm.  It will be located on the corner of Eighth Street and Highland where the OLMC Society holds their Annual Italian Feast each July.

Westchester Putnam Touch A Truck will provide a unique opportunity for children of all ages to explore and learn about all types of vehicles - including fire, law enforcement, military, construction, farming, utility, delivery, emergency, community, truck dealers and more.

The children will be able to touch, climb, sit in the driver’s seat, pose for photos and ask questions to the professionals there with their vehicles.  The professionals will provide a safe environment to learn about the equipment while they explain the use for each vehicle on display.  Some may have handouts for the children or other things they can take home with them.

Along with the fun will also be a face painting booth, balloonists making animals for the children, a sausage & pepper booth of OLMC fame, a booth with hamburgers and hot dogs for sale, an ice cream wagon and other food.

Presale Tickets $4 -  Day of  Event $5 - children under 2 are Free
