2018 District Conference Volunteers

We are once again proud to announce our partnering with the Outreach Food Program.  Rotarians and fellow volunteers will once again be assembling meals for the hungry in our district.  The goal of this event is to package at least 35,000 meals for distribution to those in need.  It can be distributed through the local food banks, pantries, backpack programs or any other programs addressing the hungry.

The event will take place at the Church Street School, 295 Church Street, White Plains, NY 10603 on Saturday, April 28, 2018 in conjunction with the District Conference.  You can volunteer for either session 1 or session 2 (11-12:30 packaging, and 12:30-2 packaging and clean up).  You can register by logging into the District 7230 web site and clicking on the 2018 District Conference Volunteers icon at the bottom of the page left side. Please note in the comments which session you will attend and tee shirt size.   

We ask all the clubs in our district to send volunteers (no monetary contribution required), and serve our community as only we can do.  A great family fun event, easy, hands on experience, while giving back to the community. Each club participating, will have the opportunity of rewarding their communities, cases of the food packaged at the event.  Your club can then determine where the food packages can best feed the hungry in your community.
