2019-20 District 7230 Conference (Part 1)

We have prepared wide-ranging and focused help for your Clubs – on Social Media, Club Management, Membership, and Technology – all packed at the day-long District Conference Part 1.  All this, will take place on Saturday, 26 October, from 9 am to 4 pm, at the Radisson Hotel, in New Rochelle, in Westchester - conveniently accessible, via major highways, and is a short walk from the Metro-North Train Station.

Social media is an area, where many Clubs have been asking for help and assistance. These days, people joining any organization want to check them out online.  So having an outdated Facebook page can send negatives vibes without you knowing.  We’ve arranged well-known and highly regarded Social Media expert,  Joan Grangenois-Thomas to provide hands-on, and practical guidance, on maintaining your Social Media presence and using it to your full advantage.

The session on Club Management will provide you with the latest information, tips and guidance on managing your Club – activities, finances, records – all vitally important for your Club health.

Membership, as we all know is the critical issue in our District.  RI President Mark Maloney has said Membership happens at the Clubs.  The session on Membership is a panel discussion on what works and what has not worked with quick presentations from Clubs which have had success and others which have not – so that all can share and learn from one another.

In the Technology session, you will find tips and tricks on updating your Club’s basic information, and the wide variety of resources available on the District site and on the RI site.  Bring your laptops and tablets, and learn hands-on one-on-one.  No-one will be left behind.

There will also be short informative sessions, on RYLA, and the Rotary Foundation during which we will be announcing and handing out the 2018-19 winners of The Rotary Foundation Recognition Awards.

Best of all – the sessions will be back-to-back, so you won’t have to choose between the available sessions.

The District will also subsidize the cost of attending, so that many of you can take advantage of this opportunity.

Of course, breakfast and a buffet lunch will be provided and you will have coffee and cookies to perk you up during the breaks.  All for only $40, -  BUT - space is limited, so sign up NOW!
