Dear Fellow Interactors, Rotaractors, Rotarians, Supporters and Visitors to District 7230,
As I step into the role of District Governor, I am filled with a profound sense of honor and responsibility. Today marks the beginning of an exciting journey for us all, one that I am confident will be filled with achievements and growth through enhanced service.
Our 2024-25 theme, “Magic of Rotary,” encapsulates the transformative power of our collective efforts. Rotary has always been about making the impossible possible, turning dreams into reality, and bringing positive change to our communities. The magic lies in our dedication, our compassion, and our unwavering commitment to Service Above Self.
But this magic can only be realized when we come together. My theme for this year is “Together.” Together, we can overcome challenges that seem insurmountable. Together, we can build bridges of understanding and cooperation. Together, we can amplify our impact and create lasting change.
Education and empowerment are at the heart of Rotary’s mission. By working together, we can support educational initiatives that open doors and create opportunities for all. We can inspire the next generation of leaders and innovators who will carry forward the torch of service and excellence.
Let us remember that every small action, every kind word, and every moment of service contributes to the larger picture of a better world. The magic of Rotary shines brightest when we unite our efforts and work as one. As your District Governor, I am committed to fostering an environment of collaboration, inclusivity, and shared purpose.
In the year ahead, let us harness the magic of Rotary and the strength of being together to make a difference across Manhattan, Staten Island, The Bronx, Westchester County, and Bermuda. Let us set ambitious goals and achieve them with determination and unity. The future is bright, and the possibilities are endless when we stand together as Rotarians.
