In Memoriam: DG Serge Poulin
It is with profound sadness that I learned of the tragic passing of my Rotary classmate and dear friend, DG Serge Poulin of District 7790.
Serge was a dedicated Rotarian, a compassionate leader, and a wonderful friend. His warm smile, kindness, humor, and willingness to help others touched so many lives. His commitment to suicide prevention, polio eradication, and providing eye care to underserved communities around the world reflected the true spirit of Service Above Self.
As a fellow District Governor and Rotary classmate, I will always remember Serge not only for his leadership, but for his friendship and the joy he brought to our Rotary family.
My deepest condolences go to his beloved wife, Marie-Christine Bouchard, his family, friends, and the entire Rotary family of District 7790.
Serge, you will be deeply missed, but your service, friendship, and legacy will remain in our hearts.
May he rest in peace.
