Wow!  This is just a sampling of the November that was….    Packed with activities, it was a busy month for our Clubs and hearty to note that clubs are now sharing more of our work on social media.

As we were spending time with our families – true to the Rotary spirit, Rotarians were right there beside our community.

The Bahamas Relief Fund is now closed.  Thanks to clubs and individual Rotarians who contributed.  The District Foundation has initiated the process of sending the collected proceeds to the Rotary Relief fund.

I am pleased to report that by the end of this week, I will have visited 43 of our 44 Clubs and 2 Rotaract Clubs.  It has been an exhilarating experience and I learned so much about our District and our Rotarians.  I am forever indebted for the joy you, as Rotarians in this District, have brought to my days through your extravagant support. Each time I sign a form from our clubs chartering a club, whether Satellite, Rotaract or Interact, it gives me joy that the future of Rotary is secure.  Our Rotary clubs have also continued to induct new members from day to day, and what a blessing it is to be your DG at such a time! Please, let us continue growing our clubs through membership and let me know where you need my assistance. I am always happy to be of assistance.

So far we have 52 registrations for the Rotary Convention in Honolulu this coming June.  Those of you still thinking about it – think no more – December 15 is the last day for registering at the reduced rate.  The hotels are filling up fast, so book yours before it is too late.

The District is seeking nominations for District Governor 2022-23 and for District Treasurer 2020-2022.  Detailed information is on our website.

Planning for the District Conference Part 2 is underway. April 18, 2020 at the DoubleTree Hotel in Tarrytown. I am exclusively banking on your support to make this Conference a success. I believe in you, and the power of your support !

Great Rotary Events are Coming. Let us know about your club's activities. We'll help publicize through the District website and Facebook page. If you haven't "liked" us yet, go to  fb.me/rotary7230 and begin sharing.

Bina & I, wish you a great year ahead, full of prosperity, and good health
