A Rotary Disaster Relief Appeal
In a matter of moments, lives were changed forever.
On August 26, devastating flash floods swept through northern Nepal, unleashing torrents of water, mud, rock and debris through mountain communities. Homes have been destroyed, roads and bridges washed away, families displaced, and communities cut off from essential services.
Hundreds of lives have already been lost. Many people remain missing, and tens of thousands have been affected. Families who once had homes, livelihoods and security now face an uncertain future.

Rotary has a long tradition of responding when disaster strikes. Through its worldwide network of clubs, districts, members and partners, Rotary helps communities meet urgent needs and supports the difficult journey from emergency relief to recovery and rebuilding
