Dear Rotarians, Rotaractors, and Friends of District 7230:
 
As we move forward into October, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the incredible activities and milestones we achieved together in September. It was a month filled with inspiration, collaboration, and growth within our district. Here are some highlights from my September visits and events:
 
1. **Club Visits:**  
I had the privilege of visiting multiple clubs throughout the district. It was wonderful to meet so many dedicated Rotarians who are committed to creating meaningful change in their communities. Your passion for service is truly the heart of our district!
 
2. **Membership Growth Celebration:**  
 In line with our theme "Together, We Transform," we are continuing our district's impressive membership growth. I am proud to report that for the fourth consecutive year (2020-2024), District 7230 has seen continuous membership growth. Our dynamic expanded Membership Team is continually at work to ensure that the eye is always on the ball.  We have already welcomed many new members this Rotary year, a testament to our long-term commitment to growing our Rotary family. Our newest club -the Rotaract Club Aspire, New York is a great example of this success.
 
3. **District Learning Assembly Success:**  
 We also celebrated a successful **District Learning Assembly** held on September 28, 2024. Where nearly 80 Rotarians and Rotaractors had the opportunity to come together to share knowledge, learn new strategies, and empower our clubs for future growth and service. There were sessions on Membership, Foundation, Public Image, Rotaractors, DEI, Rotary’s partnership with Toastmasters International, and Empowering Women & Girls.
 
4. **Community Projects:**  
 Several clubs initiated impactful projects this month, focusing on both local and global issues. I was particularly inspired by [highlight one or two impactful projects], which are making a real difference.
 
5. **Upcoming Events in October:**  
 As we head into October, I look forward to continuing my club visits and supporting exciting upcoming events. This includes the charter ceremony of the new Rotary Club of South Bronx on 19 October where we can come together to strengthen our Rotary mission.
 
6. **October is Economic and Community Development Month**
Rotary supports investments in people to create measurable and enduring economic improvement in their lives and communities. The Rotary Foundation enables Rotarians to invest in people by creating sustainable, measurable, and long-term economic improvements in their communities and livelihoods
In support of the focus of the month, many clubs have put forth community development projects through the assistance of our District Matching grants. 
 
Once again, thank you for your continued dedication to the values of Rotary. I am honored to serve alongside you and look forward to what we will accomplish together in the coming months. Keep up the excellent work, and remember, the **Magic of Rotary** is powered by each one of you!
